Oregon Minimum Wage Increase – July 1, 2025
As Oregon employers have seen since 2016, minimum wage rates for the state have been increasing in July of each year. Separate rates for standard, Portland Metro, and Nonurban Counties are designated.
The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) has announced the rates that will be effective July 1, 2025, which we’ve outlined below. As reported on the BOLI website, these increases are based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and are intended to keep pace with inflation. Past rates, since 2016, are also shown on the BOLI site.
The minimum wage rates effective July 1, 2025 are as follows:
- Standard Rate: $15.05 per hour
- Portland Metro Rate: $16.30 per hour
- Nonurban Counties Rate: $14.05 per hour
